The Food and Drug Administration has confirmed in an initial review that Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine provides strong protection against the disease.
Regulators posted their analysis online, offering the world’s first detailed look at the evidence behind the Pfizer shots even as, across the Atlantic, Britain began vaccinating its oldest citizens with them.
