A white Florida man with a history of hatred towards Black people purchased firearms legally and committed a racially motivated shooting that killed three Black individuals.
The shooting took place on the 60th anniversary of the March of Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I have a dream” speech against racism.
President Joe Biden condemned the shooting, emphasizing that the country must reject white supremacy and ensure that Black citizens are not subjected to racist attacks and live in fear based on the color of their skin.
