New York House Republicans are introducing a resolution to expel Rep. George Santos from Congress.
There are allegations that he stole campaign donor identities and charged thousands of dollars to their credit cards without authorization.
Even though GOP colleagues previously called for Santos to resign, they did not support a resolution to expel him earlier this year. However, they are now reiterating their demands for his resignation.
In 2024, former Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi plans to challenge Santos while he maintains his innocence and refuses to accept a plea deal.
