Federal officials say a man who faces child pornography in North Carolina is linked to what they say were plans to carry out acts of domestic terrorism, including an attack on Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Alexander Hillel Treisman was arrested after Kannapolis, N.C., police found an AR-15 rifle, a handgun, ammunition and explosive materials in a van connected to him, according to court documents.
Federal officials said police also found more than $500,000 in cash, books on bomb-making, militant drawings and other weapons.
Authorities say Treisman, 19, is originally from Washington state but also had driver’s licenses from several other states.
