U.S. workers filed another 1.48 million new applications for jobless benefits last week as the coronavirus pandemic continued to upend the labor market, the Labor Department reported.
More than 19.5 million people remain on unemployment rolls.

Initial claims were 1,480,000 for the week ending 6/20 (-60,000).
